The announcement

We wanted to wait until we were 12 weeks along to announce publicly to everyone that we were in fact going to be parents! We took the time before that to tell our family, close friends, and co workers the news. The reactions were absolutely priceless. Tears, hugs, screams, and lots of celebrating took place. These people stood by us, and prayed with us for many years, so not only did they see our prayers being answered, but they felt theirs were as well.

Find those people! Find the ones that stand by your side. Pray with you! Rejoice with you! These are the people that stick with you through the good times and bad!

I had the sweetest friend Brittani Purtle Photography (if you are in the Oklahoma area, you must look her up) that did a photo shoot for us. It was so much fun! She captured a beautiful picture of some of my injections from our IVF cycle that I will treasure forever!

We announced publicly on October 26, 2016 with the picture at the top of this post. We are changing our names to Mommy and Daddy. Baby Lee is due May 2017!

“For this child I prayed, and the LORD has granted me my request which I asked of Him.”

1 SAMUEL 1:27 AMP

To our parents, family, closest friends, the Zellner family, and our Levinson real estate family THANK YOU! Our journey was a little less painful because of all of you. Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and support! We love you!

  1. Beautiful announcement! What a wonderful reaction from friends and family. I had a similar timeline with my current baby-to-be. He’s due May 2018, and we announced October 23rd, 2017. We were only 10.5 weeks, but I couldn’t pass up the chance to announce on our wedding anniversary!

  2. Thank you! Wow, I guess that’s true! Happy 1st Birthday to your little one ❤ And happy 1 year to you too because moms should totally be recognized on baby’s first birthday!
