The Celebration

This day was a day that I had been anticipating for years. After years and years of hosting, and planning baby showers it was finally my turn! In my blog internal battle I talked about a bad experience I had at a blow dry shop. I chose to go back to that same place and get my hair done for my baby shower with the same girl to gain a positive experience. I knew I needed to do that for myself. That’s not for everyone, but it really helped me turn a negative experience into a positive one.

My dear friends threw me the most gorgeous baby shower! I could not have asked for a better celebration. So many family and friends that were so dear to me came to celebrate. I had friends drive in from out of town, and my best friend flew in from North Carolina 28 weeks pregnant to be with me!

The rest of my pregnancy flew by. I was considered high risk my entire pregnancy, so I had my normal OB appointments, and then I went to a high risk specialist for all of my ultrasounds. At 36 weeks they released me from the specialist.

Since I hadn’t been able to have a lot of family come we scheduled one last 3D ultrasound so I could have my parents and grandparents come and be a part.
