I don’t even know where to begin as I reflect back on the Moms in the Making Conference. I am still constantly going back through my notes, processing, and soaking it all in. I had reservations about going, but deep down I knew I was supposed to. I went in with my expectations set really high, and the conference no where near met what I had imagined. It completely blew my expectations out of the water! Every detail was so beautifully orchestrated. You must be there next year!
I left with my heart healed, feeling free of all disappointment I didn’t know I still had deep down, a even deeper love for Jesus, a hunger for diving more into the word, and so many new friendships.
I uprooted lies that I believed over myself. We took the time to pray and then went down one by one and pulled a weed and threw it down. We were uprooting the lies that we had believed over our lives and throwing them off of us. This is something I had been working on prior to the conference so this was very timely for me. I left feeling so much more free, and made a declaration that I would not let these weeds come back in and try to grow again. I chose to uproot the lies, and cling to the Lord’s truths over my life.
We heard the most amazing main sessions. Caroline Harries and Jessica Satterfield’s messages were SO powerful. God used them in a huge way to speak to us and deliver such anointed messages. These were so timely, powerful, and packed full of revelation with a call to action.
Sometimes weeds look like flowers, but you can’t dance in the weeds because they will trip you up! – Jessica Satterfield
Psalm 100:5- Passion translation
For the Lord is always good and ready to receive you.
He’s so loving that it will amaze you-
so kind that it will astound you!
And he is famous for his faithfulness toward all.
Everyone knows our God can be
trusted,
for he keeps his promises to every generation!
You are responsible for tending to your own garden. You have to protect yourselves from the wind of other people. The worst thing you can do is share what you are going through with others and then let their unbelief come on to you- Caroline Harries
Friend I ask you today- what is a lie that you are believing over your life that you need to uproot today? Are you letting others unbelief come on to you?
Don’t just pull the weed out, rip it out all the way at the root where it can no longer have a place in your life.
