National Infertility Awareness Week

This is me holding someone that I fought for. Someone I advocated for. Someone I longed for. Cried for. Prayed for. My journey to having a child may not be what some people deem “normal.” I even had people tell me it was wrong, but I know it was a road made for my husband and I to travel together. It was the right road for us. The exact road the Lord had prepared for us. It was a hard, long, messy road at times, but it was also beautiful, life giving, and surreal. Was it worth it? A million times yes. I would do it all over again!

This week we share parts of our story to help raise awareness for national infertility awareness week. To help others know that there is no reason to feel ashamed or embarrassed. We help bring awareness to encourage others to not feel alone, or ashamed of their stories. To fight for your dreams. Your miracle. Your promise! I know it can be such a hard place to be. It can be hard to walk through, but I’m so thankful that the Lord is beautifully orchestrating each and every one of our stories.

You are not alone.

You are not a failure.

You are not broken.

You are not your diagnosis.

You are an overcomer.

1 in 8 couples struggle with infertility.

We are the proud parents of a miracle baby.

We are living proof that the Lord is still in the miracle working business.
